23 to 29 September | ‘Harvest Festival’ promoted at PTAT
Between 23 and 29 September, the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT) will be the showcase for various ‘agricultural artefacts’ alluding to the Harvest Festival – Covas do Barroso.
This initiative is being held in partnership with the Celtiberus Environmental and Cultural Association and Boticas Parque – Nature and Biodiversity and aims to exhibit some of the agricultural artefacts used at harvest time, thus making known the material and immaterial heritage of Covas do Barroso (Boticas), as well as promoting the ‘Harvest Festival’ walk, which includes a wide range of activities, including: defoliation, traditional games, a local produce market, traditional music, folklore and a visit to the rural museum.
PTAT can be visited from Monday to Sunday at Alameda do Tabolado, in Chaves.
