“Back to the Hits” opened the ArtFest Project with a concert in Boticas
The Musical Group – “Back to the Hits”, composed of artists from the region, performed last Saturday, April 9, at Praça do Município, in Boticas, beginning a set of shows included in the scope of the ARTFEST Project.
The timeless songs of the national and foreign pop/rock from the 70?s, 80?s and 90?s marked the beginning of the ArtFest Project, promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT).
After a long period marked by the absence of shows, due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, the Flaviense Group was the chosen one to animate the Saturday night of the inhabitants of Boticas and neighbour villages, which filled the Praça do Município, with musical hits that marked generations.
Among the several present we highlight the presence of the Vice Mayor of Boticas, Guilherme Pires, the First Executive Secretary of CIMAT, Ramiro Gonçalves and the President of Mais Boticas – Business Association of Boticas, Paulo Aleixo.
We remind that the Project (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455) has as general objective the promotion and touristic valorisation of the cultural patrimony of Alto Tâmega and presents a net cultural program involving the 6 municipalities of Alto Tâmega (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theatres, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other performance venues), as well as the municipal museums and museum spaces.
