23 FEBRUARY 23rd – 1ST MARCH | Carnival Traditions of the Region in Exhibition at Alto Tâmega Tourism Office
This year, the Carnival is also celebrated in Alto Tâmega’s Tourism Office (PTAT). The tourism technicians are preparing an exhibition based on the Carnival Traditions of Alto Tâmega region which will be in exhibition between February, 23rd and March, 1st.
The exhibition allusive to the Carnival Traditions of Alto Tâmega’s region will count with masks and carnival costumes of the territory, which express the most remarkable traditions of each one of the municipalities that integrate the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega – CIMAT (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), as well as the stories of the labour, social and political life of each municipality.
Visit the Alto Tâmega’s Tourism Office, located in Alameda do Tabolado – Chaves, between February 23rd and March 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and come to celebrate Carnival with us!
