Theatre Forum Boticas Inaugurated the CulturAT Project with the Presentation of a Piece of Theatre
The Theatre Group Fórum Boticas inaugurated, last Saturday 19th March, the CulturAT project – Touristic Promotion of Alto Tâmega through Culture, with the presentation of the play “Quem levou Teus Trinta Ramos?”, in the Parish Council of Boticas e Granja. The texts are from Raúl Brandão and Gil Vicente.
The initiative had a full house. About 130 people chose the headquarters of the Parish Council of Boticas and Granja to spend Saturday evening, with the entertainment of the Fórum Boticas Theatre Group.
The project CulturAT is promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT), in partnership with the Municipality of Ribeira de Pena and the Ecomuseu – Association of Barroso, and resulted from an application presented to the NORTE 14-2020-25 Notice – “Cultural Heritage – Cultural Programming in Network”.
The main objectives of the project are related to the dynamization, promotion and development of the cultural heritage, as a tool for differentiation and competitiveness of the territory of Alto Tâmega and, simultaneously, the support to the cultural sector of the region.
Were present at the event the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Boticas, Isabel Torres and the representatives of the Ecomuseu de Barroso and CIMAT, Hélio Martins and Carla Varandas, respectively.
