16 SEPTEMBER | Montalegre receives Alturas Band
The International Circuit of Montalegre will be the stage for the performance of the Alturas Band on Friday, September 16, at 19h. One more show inserted in the project Alto Tâmega – ArtFest.
The Project ArtFest (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455) is an initiative of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT) which foresees the realization of 48 moments of cultural promotion and animation of the territory, involving musical and theatre groups, folk dance groups and dance academies, supporting the cultural agents of the region which were strongly affected by the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
Having as main goal the promotion and touristic valorisation of Alto Tâmega’s cultural heritage, presents a net cultural programme involving the 6 municipalities of the territory (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theatres, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other show rooms), as well as the municipal museums or museological spaces.
