Theatre Group Fórum Boticas presented “Who Took Your Thirty Branches?” in Montalegre

In the ambit of CulturAT project – Touristic Promotion of Alto Tâmega through Culture, the Theatre Group Fórum Boticas presented, last Saturday, 26th March, in the Municipal Auditorium of Montalegre, the play “Who Took Your Thirty Branches?”, with texts by Raúl Brandão and Gil Vicente.

Like the success that was the premiere of the play in the municipality of Boticas, marking the start of the CulturAT Project, the Theatre Group Fórum Boticas provided another moment of great animation, this time in the Municipal Auditorium of Montalegre.

The CulturAT project is promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT), in partnership with the Municipality of Ribeira de Pena and the Ecomuseu – Association of Barroso, and resulted of a candidature presented to the NORTE 14-2020-25 Notice – “Cultural Heritage – Cultural Programming in Network”.

The main objectives of the project are related with the dynamization, promotion and development of the cultural heritage, as a differentiation and competitiveness instrument of Alto Tâmega territory and, simultaneously, the support to the cultural sector of the region.

Marked presence in the event the President, the Vice-president and the Town Councillor of Montalegre, Orlando Alves, David Teixeira and Fátima Fernandes, respectively.

The Ecomuseu do Barroso was represented by the President of the Administration Board, Manuela Pedreira Carvalho.
