The Municipal Museum of Vila Pouca de Aguiar offers visitors a unique journey through the territory’s past, while at the same time bringing them into contact with the pre-existences of this historic building. The permanent collection,
made up of archaeological collections, transports us to six environments, to six particular moments in the occupation of the municipality. The link is the exploitation of natural resources provided by the region over thousands of years: granite, gold and mineral waters. The space also hosts travelling art exhibitions.
