TOURISM 4.0 | Training Sessions on the New Challenges of Tourism start next week

Aiming to provide the tour operators of Alto Tâmega with the technical and functional knowledge necessary for the modernization of their businesses, based on those that are the new challenges of tourism in the region, CIMAT, AquaValor and AE Corgo, will advance already on June 13 with the first Capacity Building action, in Chaves.

After the presentation of the Strategic Plan of Tourism of Alto Tâmega and consultation of the tour operators of the region were planned a set of 12 Training Actions (6 presential and 6 online) oriented to those who are the New Challenges of Tourism in Alto Tâmega.

These actions have the objective to capacitate the Alto Tâmega’s touristic operators in order to endow them with the necessary technical and functional knowledge to modernize their business, adapt the touristic offer to the new challenges of Tourism and sensitize to the inherent advantages to the establishment of partnerships with the remaining touristic operators of the Region.

In order to create networking among the tour operators of the various municipalities, the on-site training actions will be held one per municipality, with the objective that they also mobilize for the sessions in neighboring municipalities.

The first training session is entitled “ALTO TÂMEGA IN 360º – Guided Tourist Experiences” and will take place next Monday, June 13th, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, at “A Talha” Restaurant, in Chaves.

Participation is free, but subject to REGISTRATION, since the session ends with lunch.

This presential action will be followed by the second training session – online regime, on June 15th (Wednesday), at 15h00, with the theme “Positioning and Value for the Alto Tâmega Tourism”.
