
TOURISM 4.0 | Vila Pouca de Aguiar hosted the penultimate in-person training action with the theme “Touristic Product Organization
Took place this Monday, July 11th, the 9th training action provided in Alto Tâmega Project – Tourism 4.0, with the theme “Tourism Product Organization”, at the Hotel Restaurant Aguiar da Pena, in Vila Pouca de Aguiar.
The session had as objectives: understand the importance of the product organization for the development of sustainable tourism destinations and know the trends of tourism products development.
To train tour operators on this theme were the guest speakers Hugo Francisco and João Ramos, representatives of Portugal Green Travel, accompanied by the representative of PENHAS – Consulting and Events. The First Executive Secretary of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT), Ramiro Gonçalves, was also present.
These actions have the objective to empower the Alto Tâmega tour operators in order to provide them with the technical and functional knowledge needed to modernize their business, adapt the tourism offer to the new challenges of tourism and raise awareness of the advantages inherent in establishing partnerships with other tour operators in the region.
Today (July 13), will take place the 10th training action (online), at 15:00, with the theme “Innovation and Sustainability in Nature Tourism.

Next week:
– On July 18 (Monday), from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the 11th training action (last face-to-face session) will take place in the Nevada Restaurant, in Montalegre, with the theme “Collaborative Branding in Alto Tâmega”.
The participation is free of charge, but subject to a MANDATORY REGISTRATION until Friday (July 15) at 17h00, since the session ends with lunch.

– On July 20 (Wednesday) will take place the 12th training action in online format (last session online), at 15h00, with the theme “Alto Tâmega – Region of Well-Being”.
