
TOURISM 4.0 | There is still time to register for the 1st Cycle of Creative Labs sessions
The sessions of the 1st Cycle of Creative Labs, under the Alto Tâmega – Tourism 4.0 project, have already started, but there is still time to enrol in the last three sessions that take place next week, on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of November, in Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, respectively.
The first session took place in Boticas, on the 14th of November, with the theme “Rivers & Mountains”, followed by Chaves, on the 15th of November, with the theme “Gastronomy, Water and Wines”, closing the work week, on the 16th of November, under the theme “Villages and Traditions”, in Montalegre.
The sessions of this 1st Cycle aim to mobilize the participants of the various municipalities to jointly develop ideas to promote the territory as a whole and create new tourism products for the region, making it increasingly attractive.
Next week, this 1st cycle of work will be concluded with three more creative labs, namely
– 21 November (10h00 – 13h00) – Ribeira de Pena: “History and Art” | School Museum Room / Tourism Office (R. Manuel José de Carvalho, nº 14)
– 22 November (10h00 – 13h00) – Valpaços: “Villages and Traditions” | Wine House (Av. Luís de Castro Saraiva)
– 23rd November (10h00 – 13h00) – Vila Pouca de Aguiar: “Rivers and Mountains” | Multipurpose Room/Auditorium – Municipal Library (R. Dr. Carlos Alberto Sousa)

The main goal of Creative Laboratories is to idealize, define and build in a collaborative way a new composed touristic offer (multi-operator) to Alto Tâmega e Barroso, involving the touristic operators and interlocutors of the region.
The project Alto Tâmega – Tourism 4.0 (NORTE-02-0853-FEDER-037651) is a joint initiative of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT), the Centre of Valorisation and Technology Transfer of Water (AquaValor) and the Business Association of Corgo (AECorgo).
