
TOURISM 4.0 | Training actions for Tour Operators’ Digital Skills have already started
Started last Tuesday, March 7, in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the first session of training of the digital skills of Alto Tâmega and Barroso’s tour operators which focused on the theme “Digital Marketing – How to promote your business online”, following to Boticas, on March 8, Wednesday, which hosted the session on “Google tools at the service of the tourism business”.
These sessions arise under the project “Alto Tâmega Turismo 4.0” and aim to empower the tour operators of the region in order to transmit them the necessary knowledge for the incorporation of new tools, technologies and digital platforms in their operation, in their marketing initiatives, sale of their services and monitoring of their customers.
Next week’s sessions will take place in Chaves from 14.30 on March 14 (Tuesday), at ACISAT, under the theme “Booking engines vs. direct digital selling” and in Montalegre from 14.30 on March 15 (Wednesday), at Ecomuseu do Barroso, under the theme “Social selling – Knowing how to sell on Social Networks”.
