Town Square

The centre square of the town and seat of the municipality of Boticas. The ideal meeting point for exploring all the municipality’s heritage. Next to it, you’ll see a replica of the statue of one of the four Calaic warriors discovered in the municipality of Boticas, as well as an imposing granite granary once used for storing and drying ears of maize. It is one of the most recurrent heritage elements in rural landscapes, symbolising the importance of this cereal in the region.
