Pedrinha Bridge

por pessoa

The Pedrinha bridge over the River Beça, classified as a Property of Public Interest, is the largest and best-preserved medieval bridge in the former Terra do Barroso. It is a granite construction made up of five arches (three round arches and two ogival arches) that support a deck with railings and was part of the old road that connected Braga and Chaves. It is currently only used as a pedestrian bridge. Oral tradition has preserved the memory of an old legend, according to which this bridge was built by the ‘Moors’.
