GIAHS Territory Observatory Network – Barroso Treasure – Seirrãos Viewpoint

At the top of the Serra de Seirrãos and set in a privileged area of great natural beauty, this viewpoint offers a landscape very unique to the region. Its high altitude (803 metres) allows for a wide range of views of agricultural landscapes and settlements, protected by the hillsides and where nature reigns supreme. The field of vision extends along the Terva valley as far as the Serra da Sanábria, in the middle of Galicia (Spain), which allows for a privileged and wide view over the town of Boticas.
