Calaínhos Manor House

Located in the village of Fornos do Pinhal, the Baroque-style Solar dos Calaínhos, built in 1795, has a coat of arms registered with the Registry of Nobility. The Calaínhos nickname was given to one of the former members of the family because he physically resembled the type of man from Calais. The main façade has a balcony that rests on columns flanking the main door, which has rocaille decoration. In the cornerstones and pediment, there are fireworks of the Joanine style.
