VIA AGUSTA ITER XVII

The section that runs through the municipality of Valpaços is about 19 kilometres long, crossing the towns of Mosteiró de Cima, Barracão, Sá, Vilarandelo, Lagoas and Possacos. The route is steeped in history, with Roman pavements and bridges. The landscape, compartmentalised between agricultural areas and small forests, reflects the variety of fauna and flora. The Rabaçal Ecovia includes a passage over the Arquinho Bridge, where you can walk along part of the Via Augusta route.
