
Forum Boticas Theatre takes the stage at the Centro Cultural de Chaves Auditorium
Next Friday, November 4th, at 9:30 p.m., Fórum Boticas Theatre will take to the stage of the Centro Cultural de Chaves Auditorium the play “Who Took Your Thirty Branches?”. The entrance is free, however, subjected to the previous ticket withdrawal in the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourism Office until 1pm of the same day.
This event will be realized in the scope of the Project Alto Tâmega – ArtFest (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455), an initiative of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT) which predicts the realization of 48 moments of cultural promotion and animation of the territory, involving musical and theatre groups, folk dance groups and dance academies, supporting the cultural agents of the region which were strongly affected by the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
The main objective is the promotion and touristic valorisation of the cultural heritage of Alto Tâmega e Barroso being that, for such, presents a net cultural programme involving the 6 municipalities of the territory (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theatres, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other enclosures of shows), as well as the municipal museums or museological spaces.
