Stand of CIM do Alto Tâmega e Barroso was the stage for the opening ceremony of the XXV Gastronomic Pig Fair

After two editions of the Gastronomic Pig Fair held online due to the pandemic, it was with great satisfaction that Fernando Queiroga, Mayor of Boticas, inaugurated yesterday, January 12th, the 25th edition of this Fair.

The Multipurpose Pavilion of Boticas hosted the opening ceremony, with the Alto Tâmega and Barroso CIM Stand as background, and counted with the presence of the Secretary of State for Regional Development, Isabel Ferreira, who presided this session.

The fair takes place until Sunday at the Multipurpose Pavilion, with the participation of fifty smoke and sausages producers and where is expected the acquisition of about 40 tons of these products until the closing of the Fair.

Among the several presents in the opening session we point out the presence of the Mayor of Alto Tâmega e Barroso and the First Executive Secretary of the Intermunicipal Community (CIM) of Alto Tâmega e Barroso, Ramiro Gonçalves.
