PTAT hosts ‘Christmas Cards’ exhibition
From 6 December to 6 January 2025, the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT) will host an exhibition of ‘Christmas Cards’ from the Casa Museu dos Candeias.
This is a collection of Christmas cards that have stood the test of time and which, with more or less colour, bear witness to the Christmas spirit through paper, illustrations and handwritten messages. It’s a tradition that has been lost over time, but which once had remarkable significance.
Those who visit the PTAT will thus have the opportunity to appreciate a custom that marked generations.
The PTAT, located in Alameda do Tabolado in Chaves, is open to the public from Monday to Sunday.
