FAIRS | Alto Tâmega e Barroso promoted in INTUR (Valladolid)
Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT) present at the International Fair of Tourism of the Interior (INTUR), in Valladolid – Spain, until the 20th of November (Sunday).
The edition of this year of the Fair of Valladolid started yesterday, 17th of November, and runs until Sunday, 20th of November. As in previous years and continuing the focus on promoting the region through national and international gastronomic fairs, the CIMAT stand was again present at this Fair.
INTUR shows the main attractions of the interior such as gastronomy, wine tourism, historical, monumental, and natural heritage, and adventure tourism in order to attract visitors to these territories.
Until Sunday (20th November) all the territory of Alto Tâmega and Barroso – Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços, and Vila Pouca de Aguiar – will be promoted in an integrated way to the thousands of visitors of the INTUR.
In the inaugural act of this fair which took place today, November 18th, and was accompanied by a tasting of excellent products of the region, we highlight the presence of Ana Isabel Dias, Vice Mayor of Montalegre, Jorge Fidalgo, Town Councillor of Montalegre, José Alberto Diegas, Intermunicipal Secretary of CIMAT, as well as the tourism technicians of the municipalities of Alto Tâmega e Barroso and CIMAT.
