Ribeira de Pena | Camilo at the Table

As part of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of Camilo Castelo Branco, the Ribeira de Pena Municipality, in collaboration with the Pena Park Hotel and the Camilo a Norte 200 Project, has prepared a day full of activities. The event will take place on 15 March and will focus on Camilo’s life, work and gastronomy.

The programme will begin at 11am with a Tertúlia Camiliana, a moment of reflection and discussion about the author. At 7.30pm, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience, with the recreation of recipes from the book ‘À Mesa com Camilo’.

Finally, at 10.30pm, there will be a storytelling session based on excerpts from Camilo Castelo Branco’s works, offering those present a literary journey through the author’s words.

These initiatives are free to attend, with the exception of the gastronomic experience, but are subject to availability and prior registration, which can be done by email until 14 March.
