Get ready for a unique cinematic experience: the Ribeira de Pena Municipal Cinema will be showing the film “Bloodless Revolution”, an inspiring film based on real events during the last days of the dictatorial regime, which marked the history of Portugal.
Follow the story of four young people who face their own challenges, dreams and struggles during this tense period in our country’s history. On the day of the military coup that overthrew the government, the population was advised to remain locked in their homes. However, the search for freedom led the four young people to the streets to join the crowds that were already there.
In the midst of the chaos of the streets, they all fight for a common goal: to resist oppression. Every step taken among the demonstrators is proof of their determination to stand up to the authoritarian regime.
