PTAT | Promoting the Waters of the Alto Tâmega and Barroso

August is synonymous with the ‘Waters of the Alto Tâmega and Barroso’. As has been the custom in recent years, the Alto Tâmega and Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT) is once again promoting the region’s waters throughout the month of August by offering them to visitors to the area.

The initiative kicks off today, 1 August, and will run until the end of the month. As the Alto Tâmega and Barroso region is a water-rich area par excellence, and in order to promote this local product – water – the PTAT is working in partnership with the companies that manage the region’s water resources (Super Bock Group, Águas de Carvalhelhos and Águas Campilho Vidago) to provide bottles of water for visitors to this facility, thereby enabling them to discover its products, history, thermal parks and facilities.
