October 07 to 15 | “Papel de Louceiro” on display at PTAT

From October 7 to 15, the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT) will be hosting the exhibition “Papel de Louceiro” from the private collection of Professor Rui Queirós.

After the exhibition “Caixas de Fósforos com História” (Matchboxes with History), the Flavian professor is once again highlighting one of his collections at PTAT.

“Laurel Paper” aims to take visitors to the PTAT on a journey through the evolution of this tradition and learn about the uses and customs of this type of material in our homes, as well as highlighting the images that illustrate how these decorative materials were used in everyday life and during festive seasons, embellishing the noblest spaces.

The Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office, located in Alameda do Tabolado, in Chaves, is open to the public from Monday to Sunday.
