Montalegre | World Book Day

The Montalegre Municipal Library is marking World Book Day as part of the Network of Houses of Knowledge in collaboration with the University of Minho, on 23 April at 6.30pm.
The session will continue to mark the centenary of Mário Soares‘ birth with a round table discussion on “THE BOOKS OF MÁRIO SOARES” LIFE’, with the participation of the following personalities: Isabel Soares, Maria João Avillez and Pedro Marques Gomes.
‘To read is to be free’ is the motto of the World Book Day 2025 poster, which inspires the celebrations organised by DGLAB throughout the month.
