Welcome to the fourth edition of the Terra de Júnias Folk Festival, a magical gathering where traditional music echoes through the heart of Pitões das Júnias. On 30 May, we return with renewed energy to celebrate the authenticity and living heritage of our lands.
Following the success of previous editions, this year we are taking the experience to the next level with a special focus on participation and movement. We want every visitor to be an integral part of the festivities, so we’ve put together a vibrant programme:

• Let yourself be swept away by ancestral rhythms and new folk sounds that promise to leave no one indifferent. Street entertainment will be the thread running through a day full of joy and sharing.
• Dance Classes and Workshops
• This year, the stage is yours! Through our dance classes, you’ll have the chance to learn traditional steps and feel the unique connection that only group dancing can provide. Furthermore, our workshops invite you to discover ancient knowledge and traditional craft techniques, celebrating the ‘know-how’ of our region.
• Culture and Nature in Harmony

• Set against the stunning landscapes of Barroso, the festival remains an invitation to sample traditional cuisine, admire local crafts and strengthen the community spirit that defines Terra de Júnias.
