Montalegre | Haunted Village – Halloween 2026 – Vilar de Perdizes

On 31 October, Vilar de Perdizes will be transformed into a veritable Haunted Village, where mystery, tradition, witchcraft and the supernatural promise to deliver an unforgettable experience.

From 1.31 pm, the Terreiro da Bruxaria opens its doors to a programme packed with activities for all ages, featuring themed workshops, music, street entertainment, parades, shows and plenty of surprises.

As night falls, the atmosphere becomes even more mysterious, with the Horror Trail (8.31 pm), the Haunted Procession (10.31 pm), fire shows and the iconic Bonfire Exorcised by Father Fontes (12.31 am), one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the celebration.

The festivities continue into the early hours with the Ball of Darkness, a fusion of popular folklore, legends and traditions that make Vilar de Perdizes a centre of mysticism and Barrosan culture.
