Montalegre | Exhibition “A vós, avós…” (To you, grandparents…)

The Ecomuseu de Barroso, in Montalegre – as happened last year at the Ecomuseu de Barroso – Casa do Capitão (Salto) – is challenging the people of Barroso to take part in the exhibition “A vós, avós…” (To you, grandparents…). It’s a way of celebrating “World Grandparents’ Day” while paying tribute to these family members who represent love, affection, warmth and protection. It is therefore proposed that grandchildren send in photographs of their grandparents when they were younger or photographs of themselves with their grandparents, together with a dedication (it could be a poem, a text or simply a phrase).
The works will be exhibited at the headquarters of the Ecomuseu de Barroso – Espaço Padre Fontes, in Montalegre, from 26 July to 31 August. More information at geral@ecomuseu.org
