II Advanced Weaving Course – 50 hours

Following the success of the 1st Weaving Course, the Ecomuseu de Barroso – Casa do Capitão, in Salto, is once again organising a Weaving Course, from November 11 to December 9, this time focusing on Advanced Weaving Techniques.

Like the inaugural edition, the 2nd Weaving Course will be technically and scientifically led by master weaver Fernando Rei and will also include the participation of local weavers. With a planned duration of 50 hours, spread over time, the course will be an opportunity to celebrate local culture and identity, based on the world of weaving.

Enrolment is compulsory and attendance is limited to a maximum of 15 people. The project has the support of the Municipality of Montalegre through the Ecomuseu de Barroso and the Parish Council of Salto.
