Gastronomic Exhibition – Kid, Chestnuts and Mushrooms
The autumn menu is appetising: miscarada, kid with chestnuts, partridge veloute, wild mushroom rice and more tasty dishes; as for sweets, chestnut pudding and heather honey are among the delicacies on offer at the Vila Pouca de Aguiar Gastronomic Show, which will take place on 1, 2 and 3 November.
Meals are served in the participating restaurants. The Gastronomic Show highlights kid goat, chestnuts and mushrooms, but there are also local products on the menu, such as maronesa veal and mountain potatoes.
Alongside the gastronomy, the Autumn Products Fair will also take place on the first weekend of November at the Municipal Market, where you can buy the best products from this time of year;
The gastronomic event is organised by the municipality and EHATB. The journey to the best flavours of Vila Pouca de Aguiar is a short and safe one to the good table of Trás-os-Montes!
