Synopsis:
In an autopsy room, Dr Nascimento finds herself immersed in a case that consumes her: the tragic death of two young people from rival families – Romeo and Juliet. With the help of her assistant Clara and janitor Antunes, the coroner analyses the circumstances that brought them to her desk. As she records her assumptions, she is confronted with the painful truths surrounding love, loss and the consequences of choices that cannot be undone.
