Chaves | The Donkey’s Path

A donkey enters the scene, literally carrying the weight of his own story. Tired of his life as a pack animal, he decides to set off in search of a better life.

Somewhere between the comic and the poetic, “O Caminho do Burro” is a story about freedom, migration and change, told through various traditional techniques of puppet theatre, live music and a constantly changing set.

This event is organised in partnership with Chaves Municipal Council, as part of this year’s Cultural Development Collaboration Agreement.
