Chaves | Symphonic Choral Concert ‘Requiem’ by Mozart

‘Requiem’, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart [1756-1791], is one of the most acclaimed classical works of all time and is part of the repertoire of excellence for choir, orchestra and soloists. Divided into sections, with fourteen movements, the work, in its music and lyrics, translates an escalation of feelings and emotions in the face of loss and death, evoking hope in eternal light.
The work is performed by the Chaves Choir, the Inês de Castro Symphonic Choir, the Inês de Castro Orchestra and Leonor Barbosa de Melo – Soprano; Gisela Sachse – Mezzo Soprano; Ruben Fernandes – Tenor; Rui Silva – Bass.
