Chaves | Presentation of the book “Baile das Estrelas”

On Saturday, November 25, at 4pm, the Municipal Library of Chaves will host the launch of the book “Baile das Estrelas”, by Nuno Gonçalves, with illustrations by Maria João Victorino.

This is an enchanting narrative about the search for love and the importance of friendship, with the brilliance and affection of the stars reaching all the children in the world.

The book tells the story of Luana, a little girl dazzled by the beauty of the starry sky, who has the opportunity to observe a special meeting between two stars. They seem to live an adventure of friendship and companionship, always with the moon as their witness.

A kindergarten teacher, Nuno Gonçalves holds a master’s degree in educational sciences and is a special education teacher, specializing in early intervention and cognitive-motor skills. He also won an honorable mention in the Global Teacher Prize 2023.
