Chaves | Popular Marches 2024

With the 3rd edition of the Chaves Popular Marches 2024, the Flavian Cultural Association aims to stimulate and promote popular roots, meeting popular tastes and traditions, reinforcing the sense of celebration as a space for collective construction of a common entity, stimulating the preservation of traditions in order to guarantee their perpetuation. The marching groups will parade from Praça de Camões, bringing colour, joy and music to the streets of the city, to Alameda Galinheira, Madalena, where they will make a public presentation of the march in competition, which will then be subject to evaluation by a jury. The fairground will be filled with entertainment and gastronomy, a local products fair and the evening will end with a dance to popular music.
