Carlos Ranna invites introspection and artistic exploration in a painting exhibition
During the month of August, the Municipal Library is hosting a creative painting exhibition by Carlos Ranna, a visual artist and illustrator who presents a wide variety of styles and techniques. Scheduled to open on Friday 2 August at 5.30pm, this public presentation is an invitation to introspection and artistic exploration, in a challenging and inspiring experience.
The exhibition entitled “Fragments of a Soul. In good condition. Many kilometres travelled. Needs renovation” brings together a variety of illustrations featuring landscapes from the Trás-os-Montes region, human figures, faces and even skulls, works that invite unpredictability.
Carlos Ranna is originally from Brazil, but chose the city of Flavi to live in. He has a degree in Visual Arts and experience in Graphic Design. He has studied with big names on the international art scene and has more than a decade’s experience teaching drawing and painting. He is the founder of the Estúdio Alicerce Music Art School and the FundamentosdoDesenho.com Online Art School, and also teaches in person in Montalegre.
This exhibition is organised by the municipality and admission is free.
