Chaves | Memorial of the Convent
This could be the story of Blimunda, the woman who is more of a woman than the others because she sees something they don’t, and Baltasar, a ‘lesser man’ because he lost his hand, who live on the margins of God’s laws and only dream of ‘flying’. Of Father Bartolomeu Gusmão and his dream of the ‘flying bird’; of a King who can’t have children and who tries everything to do so… In reality, these and other stories merge in this adaptation by ETCetera Teatro, where the most important thing is to ‘see’, to look for the dream and to be bold and free…
Admission is free, but tickets must be obtained in advance from the Chaves Municipal Library and the Chaves Tourist Office.
