Chaves | “Kumpania Algazarra” Liberty Concert

Kumpania Algazarra were born in 2004, inspired by the energy of revelry and good humour. Passionate bouncers, their music is a blend of ska and folk, reggae and Balkan sounds, Latin rhythms and funk, making them one of Portugal’s most powerful brass bands. With a 20-year career, marked in 2024, the band has hundreds of concerts all over the world, an EP and 9 albums. In October 2023, Kumpania Algazarra released their latest album “Histórias e Raízes”. It’s an album that features several guests such as JP Simões, Jacqueline Carvalho, Marcelo Almeida, Synik, among others, and travels through traditional Portuguese music always with the particular vision of the collective’s eyes.

Whether on stage or in the streets, Kumpania Algazarra turn all their shows into a big celebration, a party where the band and the audience meet.
