Chaves | International Day of Monuments and Sites

On International Monuments and Sites Day, on 18 April, Chaves joins in this celebration with Heritage Week, with the aim of making citizens aware of the diversity and vulnerability of heritage, as well as the effort involved in protecting and enhancing it.

In this context, next Friday admission to the municipal museums will be free, namely the Roman Medicinal Baths Museum, the Flavian Region Museum, the Military Museum, the Railway Museum Centre and the João Vieira House-Museum in Vidago.
