It harks back to the old traditions of the northern interior of Portugal, which continue to be the way of survival for many inhabitants of the almost uninhabited villages. Today, the old are dying and the young are fleeing the fate of living in the countryside. João Taveira is 34 years old, a shepherd and he’s against the end. With the slopes of Trás-os-Montes and the Tua valley as his backdrop. Domvs tells the story of this man who gets lost in the silence of the pasture.
