Bringing joy to the years – Dancy Norte

The Municipality of Chaves is promoting another “Give Joy to the Years” get-together, organised under the motto “My Memories”, on 22 October, between 3pm and 6pm, at the Expoflávia Pavilion.

This Sunday gathering will feature musical entertainment from the group “Dancy Norte”, in an activity designed to strengthen cultural identities and intergenerational dynamics.

Empowering the different generations to promote solidarity, co-operativism and respect for the different needs and potential associated with each age contributes to the social construction of active and healthy ageing.

People who experience positive activities feel better about themselves and their world, and cope better with illness, stress and other difficulties.

The “Healthy Ageing” project is part of the Pact for the Development and Territorial Cohesion of Alto Tâmega, promoting themed events and celebrations throughout the year.
