5th Meeting of Kings

This Saturday (5.30pm), the parish church of Venda Nova, in the municipality of Montalegre, will once again host another edition of the “Encontro de Reis”. The main aim of the initiative is to preserve the tradition of the “Cantares de Reis”, to encourage the defence of this important intangible heritage in its most authentic and genuine form – lyrics, music, costumes and other adornments – and to strengthen dynamism and participation and promote relations between the people.
