“Cabril’s Cultural Trail” was on exhibition at Alto Tâmega’s Tourism Office
The Alto Tâmega Tourism Office (PTAT) hosted in its facilities the Exhibition “Cultural Trail of Cabril”, between the 22nd and 30th of June 2022. This initiative was supported by the Municipality of Montalegre and the Parish Council of Cabril.
The feedback that the tourism technicians received throughout the time of the exhibition were very positive, both for the paintings on the easels that show the beautification work done at the bus stops and for the Tourist Guide that portrays Cabril’s Cultural Path, Natural Heritage, Built Heritage, Cabril’s Symbols and Personalities.
The interest and enchantment were also two aspects very much noticed in the visitors and some of them mentioned the desire to visit the municipality of Cabril, especially
in the cold season, where they will be able to taste the excellent barrosan smoked meat and, with luck, see it snowing.
It is worth mentioning that, between June 22nd and 30th, 386 tourists visited the PTAT and, consequently, the exhibition about “Cabril’s Cultural Path” which is an Urban Art project from Cabril’s Parish Council found in the bus stops the ideal place for paintings connected to history, labor traditions and popular culture.
