ARTFEST | Over 3 hundred people in a night of shows in Vila Pouca de Aguiar

More than 300 people attended the shows that took place last night, August 2nd, in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, in the scope of the ArtFest Project.

The kick-off was given by the Town Councillor of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Ana Rita Dias, who did the honours of the house and opened the night.

The evening started with a dance show, performed by PT Academy, at Luís de Camões Square, followed by the performance of the Grupo Musical Norte, at João Paulo II Square. The presence of many emigrants who at this time of year return to the land of their birth and of other people from the neighbouring villages should be noted.

We remind that the Project ArtFest (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455) is promoted by CIMAT and has as general objective the promotion and touristic valorisation of the cultural patrimony of Alto Tâmega.

For such, it presents a programme of network culture involving the 6 municipalities of Alto Tâmega (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theatres, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other enclosures of shows), as well as the municipal museums and museological spaces.
