Alto Tâmega e Barroso promoted in another international fair

The 23rd edition of Xantar – International Gastronomic Tourism Fair, in Ourense (Spain), counted yesterday, November 9th, with the presence of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT), in a day dedicated to it.

Continuing the bet in promoting the region through national and international gastronomic fairs, CIMAT went once again to the Spanish city of Ourense to promote the various products of the Alto Tâmega e Barroso territory – Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar -, as well as the upcoming events that will take place in the region.

The first day of this event, which runs until next Sunday, the 13th, was dedicated to CIMAT, and was attended by Isabel Torres and Ana Rita Dias, city councilors of Boticas and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, respectively, and Ramiro Gonçalves, First Executive Secretary of CIMAT, who made a presentation of the territory and its potential.

CIMAT has a stand at the Fair site, where the six municipalities in the region are represented by their tourism technicians, who, during these five days, disclose this tourist destination in a logic of integrated promotion.

The Xantar – International Gastronomic Tourism Fair is an event that defends the quality of Gastronomy and Sustainable and Healthy Tourism, combining tradition and innovation of the territories represented through exhibitions, thematic tastings, live cooking and many more initiatives that take place during five days of intense activity.
