Alto Tâmega ArtFest closes with Golden Key(s)
The Alto Tâmega ArtFest project, by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega and Barroso (CIMAT), ended on Sunday, April 30, with the holding of the last three shows at Praça de Camões, in Chaves, bringing together a few hundred people .
Academia Dança D’Aguiar, Teatro Experimental Flaviense and Grupo Musical Entrelynhas performed at the end of this project.
Over about a year, the Alto Tâmega ArtFest took to the six municipalities that make up the region – Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar – 48 shows involving 36 cultural groups from the territory, from companies of theater, dance academies, musical groups, folk groups, bagpipe groups and some artists who performed solo. The total of these shows accounted for around seven thousand spectators.
It should be remembered that the ArtFest Project (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455) had as its general objective the promotion and tourist enhancement of the cultural heritage of the territory, also promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theaters, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other venues for shows), as well as municipal museums and museum spaces.
