6th Training Session | Ideas Competition – Entrepreneur in Alto Tâmega e Barroso (4th Edition)
January 5th (Thursday) was marked by the resumption of the joint training sessions of the entrepreneurs of the 4th edition of the Ideas Competition – Empreender no Alto Tâmega e Barroso. As usual the entrepreneurs went to the facilities of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT), to participate in the 6th session of the Acceleration Program.
To mark the resumption of the face-to-face consultancy sessions and the beginning of the new year, it was offered to the participants the kit “Entrepreneur CIMAT” full of symbolism. This kit was composed of:
– 1 sebenta – for them to write down all the ideas they have, including those more “out of the box”;
– 1 pen – to always record whatever comes to mind for their business;
– 1 block of post-its – to always put reminders on the most important tasks and never forget anything;
– 1 box of coloured pencils – to give colour to the greyest days;
– 1 eraser – to redo whatever is necessary;
– 1 set of cards – one in which the entrepreneurs had to argue about the maxim “The neighbour’s chicken is NOT better than mine” and 12 sultanas (cards) that they had to fill in with the 12 objectives for their business for 2023.
Together with this kit was also given an A3 sheet with the Business Model Canvas that launched the session’s theme. The “Canvas” is a strategic planning tool, which allows you to develop and outline new or existing business models on a single page.
This was the last face-to-face session before the entrepreneurs deliver the Phase 2 elements of the Acceleration Programme assessment. Although one-to-one sessions continue, entrepreneurs have until 20 January to proceed with the submission of these elements.
The three winning projects of the Acceleration Programme have access to an Achievement Programme, with one-to-one working meetings with the technical team, with the objective of supporting the formal achievement of some business goals in a short period of time.
