6 to 19 May | ‘Dreams Up Chaves’ exhibition at the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office
The ‘Dreams Up Chaves’ exhibition began today, 6 May, and will be on display until 19 May at the premises of the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT).
The ‘Dreams Up Chaves’ exhibition is by Flavian craftswoman Anabela Vila Nova, who holds a Craftswoman’s Licence from the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training and CEARTE. She works essentially with E.V.A. (Acetinated Vinyl Foam) gum material, but currently also incorporates some miniatures in cold porcelain (biscuit).
This handicraft exhibition is part of the activities planned for PTAT, as a way of revealing local talent, presenting and valuing the various works of the region’s artisans.
