23 to 31 March | Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office hosts “Water & Easter” exhibition
On 23 March, the Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office will open a temporary exhibition called “Water & Easter”, which will be on display until 31 March.
The theme of this exhibition fits in with the Easter period that we are currently going through. The pieces (Pias de Cabeceira) have been provided by the Casa Museu dos Candeias, and aim to highlight the religious tradition practised in the homes of Alto Tâmega e Barroso, thus revealing the sacred importance that WATER had, and continues to have, for families in the region.
