15 to 24 September | Vila Pouca de Aguiar Onion Fair featured at the Alto Tâmega and Barroso Tourist Office
The Alto Tâmega and Barroso Tourist Office (PTAT) will host a special event to promote the Onion Fair, one of the most emblematic events in Vila Pouca de Aguiar.
The initiative, developed in partnership with the Municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, aims to publicise this traditional event, which is closely linked to a local product of great importance to the region. At the same time, it also aims to strengthen the municipality’s tourism and cultural promotion, providing visitors to the PTAT with information about the Fair and interesting facts about the municipality where it takes place.
The Onion Fair, which will take place in the village of Aguiar from 25 to 27 September, is already a landmark in Alto Tâmega and Barroso, standing out as a showcase for the agricultural and cultural identity of Vila Pouca de Aguiar and attracting countless visitors year after year.
The PTAT, located on Alameda do Tabolado, in Chaves, is open Monday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. We look forward to your visit!
